An Injury to One . . .

So you are not a K-12 teacher--you are a higher education professional.  Yeah, well I don't think the likes of Rick Berman will care two hoots about who you are or what you do if you belong to a union.  And that is why you should read Ed's piece over at our sister AFT blog about the latest ad campaign smear from the Center for Union *cough* Facts aimed at those "teacher unions."

It is important for all union members and supporters of unions to make sure folks know who Berman is and what the real facts are.  As AFT President Ed McElroy put it:

Berman is a shameless lobbyist who has shilled for pesticide, alcohol and tobacco companies. He has lobbied against the Americans with Disabilities Act, against checkpoints to catch drunk drivers and against increasing the minimum wage. . . . An ad campaign, no matter how well funded and outrageous, cannot change the facts.

So check it out, becasue you know the old saying:  An injury to one . . .
